These terms govern your use of the Wastly macOS application, this website and the Wastly Pro subscription (together, “Wastly”). Wastly is provided by Misha S, a sole proprietor registered in Ukraine (“we”). By using Wastly you agree to these terms.
1. The app
Wastly is a personal finance tool. It stores your data on your Mac and does not provide financial, tax, investment or legal advice. Figures it shows depend on the data you import and on exchange rates from public sources, and may contain errors. You are responsible for checking anything you rely on.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Wastly on Macs you own or control. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, resell or sublicense the app, or use it to build a competing product. Copies obtained from the Mac App Store are additionally subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
3. Accounts
An account is optional and is created by logging in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping access to that identity provider account secure. One account is for one person. You may delete your account at any time from inside the app.
4. Wastly Pro
Wastly Pro unlocks the Ask assistant, its floating panel and Smart Import. It is sold as a subscription at US$5 per month or US$48 per year, plus any VAT or sales tax the merchant collects. Every account receives one free 7-day trial, starting when the account is created and requiring no payment details. When the trial ends, Pro features lock until a subscription is active; nothing else in the app changes and your data is unaffected.
Purchases on this website are made from our merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Ltd, which is the seller of record and party to the sale. Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the transaction. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. You can cancel, change plan or update your payment method at any time from Settings → Profile → Manage plan, or from the link in Paddle’s receipt email. Cancelling stops future charges; Pro remains active until the end of the period already paid for.
Purchases in the Mac App Store are made from Apple and managed through your Apple ID’s subscription settings. Apple’s terms, pricing display and refund process apply.

5. Ask and third-party AI providers
Ask uses an API key you supply for Anthropic or OpenAI. Your use of those services, and any charges they bill you, are governed by their terms. We do not operate, host or proxy those services and are not responsible for their availability or output. Ask never applies changes to your data on its own; every proposed change requires your approval.
6. Bank connections and imports
Connecting Monobank uses a personal token you create with your bank and store on your Mac. Statement imports from other banks parse files you supply. We are not affiliated with any bank and do not hold your banking credentials.
7. Price changes
We may change subscription prices for future periods. Existing subscribers are told at least 30 days in advance and the new price applies from the next renewal after that notice, unless you cancel.
8. Availability
The app works offline. The account service and payment provider may be unavailable from time to time; Pro features keep working for a grace period while your last known plan is valid. We may suspend an account used in breach of these terms or for fraud.
9. Warranty and liability
Wastly is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to Wastly is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law in your country grants you and that cannot be excluded by contract.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of Ukraine unless those rules give you the right to bring them elsewhere.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page with its date. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will notify account holders in the app before it takes effect.
